Sufra Journey

The Story Behind Sufra Handmade

Sufra Handmade was born from my deep love for art, culture, and the warmth of home.

The word “Sufra” represents the dining table, a place where stories, traditions, and laughter are shared. As an artist, I wanted to create pieces that bring a sense of nostalgia, culture, and artistic beauty to everyday life. Inspired by Lebanese heritage and the joy of handmade craftsmanship, I started painting on pottery and wooden trays, turning them into functional pieces of art that add charm to any home.

The Story Behind Our Pottery Bowls
The idea of painting on pottery started as an experiment and quickly became a passion. I created the first bowl, featuring traditional Lebanese foods like labneh, olives, and za’atar, using bright and playful colors to capture the essence of our rich culture. People loved the idea of owning a piece of art that represents their roots and a modern artistic touch at the table. Each bowl is carefully hand-painted, making every piece unique, just like the stories shared around a family meal.

The Story Behind Our Hand-Painted Trays
Trays are more than just serving pieces, they set the scene for moments of hospitality, morning coffee rituals, and special gatherings. I wanted to

To craft unique, hand-painted trays that blend art and utility, bringing joy, beauty, and functionality into everyday spaces.

From floral motifs to Lebanese patterns, every hand-painted tray carries its own personality. Whether used for serving guests or displayed as a decorative piece, each tray is a reminder that beauty can be found in the simplest of moments.
